Stefano Rotati
Music has been in Stefano’s life from an early age – he began playing classical piano and taking music theory courses at the age of ten and continued keyboard studies throughout most of high school. But it was not until later that Stefano would discover the vehicle for his musical expression:
the drumset. Today this 27 year old drummer has been working heavily in the South Florida music scene for years, playing all styles of music comfortably. He has been lucky enough to have been involved in one way or another with some of the top original-music groups in the scene representing a wide range of musical styles (including Bachaco – latin-reggae-cumbia; Kayakman – lounge/latin; Linda Bandry – Latin Country; Kevin Austin – Ex-RCA Country Artist) and has garnered professional stage experience playing notable events such as the annual Nashville-sponsored Country Music Festival in Chihuahua City, Mexico, South Florida’s Annual Swamp Stomp Music Festival, Miami’s Carnival on the Mile and many more. He has had especially long working relationships with the popular ‘Dirty Blues’ band Juke and the Jay Blues Band – these experiences have developed Stefano's authentic, yet creative and passionate approach to Blues drumming which he now brings to the Joel DaSilva project.
